What countries are eligible for Horizon Europe?

There are three type of countries that are eligible for the Horizon Europe programme: EU Member States, Third countries associated and other third countries.

  • EU Members States: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden
  • Third countries associated to Horizon Europe:
    • Albania
    • Armenia
    • Bosnia and Herzegovina
    • Faroe Islands
    • Georgia
    • Iceland
    • Israel
    • Kosovo
    • Moldova
    • Montenegro
    • North Macedonia
    • Norway
    • Serbia
    • Tunisia
    • Turkey
    • Ukraine

  • Other third countries (Participants from the following low- to middle-income countries are automatically eligible for funding):
